Integrates healthy eating habits, self-care and environmental responsibility in educational processes that strengthen daily well-being.
We promote a responsible environmental culture through educational processes that integrate care for the environment and food safety. We implement initiatives such as school and community biogardens, educational mini-gardens and healthy eating workshops, promoting sustainable practices and the consumption of local products. These actions strengthen the relationship between communities and their territory and natural resources.
In addition, we promote the training of environmental defenders who monitor and protect their environment, generating collective awareness. We promote agroecological fairs, native seed banks and campaigns on food sovereignty, complemented with educational materials and practical experiences. We also articulate these actions with responsible tourism, highlighting the value of local gastronomy and respect for the environment.
Caring for the environment also means defending health, food and the knowledge that sustains community life.

Phyto-tents and mini-gardens to learn by growing food and strengthening healthy habits.
As part of the training process of the virtual course of Environmental Defenders “For the right to a healthy planet”, we implemented phyto-tents and mini-gardens in various educational institutions. These spaces allow students to learn in a practical way about growing food, promoting healthy eating habits and the responsible use of natural resources.
Through this initiative, care for the environment, the appreciation of agricultural work and the appropriation of sustainable practices are encouraged from an early age. In addition, mini-gardens become pedagogical spaces where knowledge about food sovereignty, nutrition and sustainability is strengthened, linking learning with daily life and the local context.
Students who are trained as agents of change to protect the environment and participate in community decisions.
We train students as environmental defenders through educational processes that strengthen their awareness. criticism and their commitment to caring for the environment. Through their training, they develop a comprehensive understanding of the socio-environmental problems of their communities, being able to identify risks, propose solutions and promote sustainable actions.
Likewise, their active participation in community and decision-making spaces is encouraged, where they play a leading role as agents of change. This process encourages youth leadership, collaborative work and advocacy in their territories, contributing to the construction of more environmentally responsible communities.
Binational meeting that promotes experiential learning, dialogue of knowledge and sustainable proposals with youth protagonism.
For several years we have promoted the binational environmental event focused on environmental rights and the initiative of “zero waste”, generating meeting spaces between actors from Peru and other countries to reflect and act in the face of socio-environmental challenges. Local authorities, councilors, social organizations and, increasingly, adolescents and young people participate in these spaces, strengthening intergenerational dialogue and collective action.
In its latest edition, the active participation of young people is incorporated, who have the opportunity to do an internship in the city of Cuenca, strengthening their learning from the exchange of experiences. This process seeks to develop critical environmental awareness in adolescents and young people in Cusco, promoting their capacity for analysis, the revaluation of ancestral knowledge and the generation of sustainable proposals from their territories.
The educational proposal is based on intercultural, inclusive, equity and participation approaches for social transformation, prioritizing experiential learning, dialogue of knowledge and collective action. In this way, young people are encouraged to recognize themselves as key actors in the defense of the environment, capable of influencing their communities and building sustainable alternatives with identity and commitment.
